Description
asked me to do an assortment of 19th Century cavalry uniforms, so I did three of the more iconic types.
First we have an Imperial Russian uhlan cavalryman (with peaked cap instead of the shako) of the 8th Voznesensky Uhlan Regiment, late 19th/early 20th c. German uhlan cavalry had a similar tunic, but in feldgrau.
Next up we have a French cuirassier, Napoleonic era. The real distinguishing feature of the cuirassier is his eponymous cuirass and helmet.
Last we have a royal Hungarian hussar of the 7th Hussars (post-napoleonic), showing the iconic rows of cord and the shoulder jacket.

WHat's that style of the tunic on the left, with two sets of buttons, specifically called?
I've also noticed it on Kremlin guards.
