Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Some are hi-res characters and clothing for G8 and G3 models, some are simple objects such as vehicles. I'm hoping this will be a fairly exhaustive look at both free and premium models available for Star Wars fans.

Description
First time using LDD, so I thought to challenge myself with making my ship concepts in Lego form (as close to accurate scale as possible), and do the vector forms later.
Anyway, this is my first, and lightest ship type, the corvette. I'll think of some stats later. I'll be following a set rule for ship sizes: BB will be a nautical mile long and each class is n x 1/12 NM long. Just for reference, the frigate will be 4/12. If the scale holds, the eventual BB will be 12 times longer than this one, and plenty wider. I might even add this as a support craft...
A light patrol and recon vessel, it is equipped with a high-agility engine configuration normally encountered on fighters, and the base model has atmospheric flight capability. Seeing as the vessel is a good 150m long, this means the corvette is invaluable for surface and amphibious operations.
The ship is also the smallest possible to open its own hyperspace portal.
In combat anti-fighter corvettes (FSAA) provide a screen against bombers and missiles. Gun-armed corvettes (FSA) are used for harassment and quick strikes on vulnerable points.
Missile corvettes (FSG) function as heavy torpedo bomber analogues. Assault corvettes (LFS) are used to transport marines and commandos to planetary surfaces, space stations and crippled enemy ships. Cargo corvettes (FSC) transport supplies and goods as express, and often running enemy blockades.
The vessel is armed by default with dual 75/110/2K rail drivers (15kt for 16kg slug, 35rpm), which can be swapped for particle, plasma or directed energy weapons in a drydock. Other default armaments include a total of 10 CIWS turrets. Two primary hardpoints allow variable mountings of medium weapons. The hardpoints can be changed for small VLS cells. Here displayed with two 105/54/2K (21kt for 22kg slug, 14rpm per gun) rail driver turrets.
