m08 Batch II NCU

A further evolution of the New Combat Uniform, featuring more pockets, strengthened stress points, and a new camouflage pattern. Button-up pockets have been added on top of the standard pockets, giving added cargo capacity, with the four pockets at the bottom giving space for magazines. A sleeve pocket has been added to the left sleeve for storage of small items, eg. pens/pensils, notepads, general small items, etc. The pocket also houses the control interface for the semi-active camouflage system.
The tunic also features an cord-adjustable hem, inner pockets (two inside the tunic body, two inside the sleeves for elbow pads), and generally improved construction.

The pattern on the NCU is based on chromatic nanogranules, which change color according to the electrical current going through them. Each piece of fabric is coated with a nano-layer containing conductive materials and the granules. When the uniform is sewed together, the nano-layers on the pieces of fabric interface with eachother and automatically map out where their individual pattern orientation is. On the full military version, the NCU can store 15 pattern color schemes at once and toggle between them nearly instantly at the command of the wearer. The pattern also moves slightly as the soldier moves. e.g. when a soldier is crawling on the ground, the pattern "moves" in the opposite direction relative to the soldier, giving the effect that the pattern stays still while the soldier is moving.
Downgraded and later-production NCUs only have the ability to swap pattern coloration, in order to decrease per-unit manufacturing cost and time.

The pattern repeated too often on my previous design, so I redesigned the pattern and brought the BDU design closer to real life by adding more pockets (apparently people are going crazy about pockets in BDU design these days).
