m09 Class A Army

Here is the full rank chart for the class A service dress uniform of the Republic Army. The rank itself is indicated by the sleeve insignia and, for officers, on the lapel of an open-collar uniform jacket. Rank grade is indicated by the peaked cap, the shoulder boards and the embroidery on the collar. Service branch is indicated by devices attached on the shoulder board and for conscript ranks with piping on the collar. Unit insignia would be attached above the branch devices.

The rank structure is based on the current Finnish system. Rank insignia are also based on the current and past Finnish insignia: shoulderboards are m/22, sleeve insignia based on the m/52 and collar insignia loosely based on m/19-m/22. Arm of service insignia based on swiss insignia, colors are Finnish.
