Yeah, having yet another busy period of study going on, so all projects here are on a slower schedule.

Also I have an appointment with a dentist to get my wisdom teeth removed.  Joy.
Will write about that experience later on, though I suspect that either hijinx or sheer unbridled agony will ensue.

Post-procedure update
=================

Kay, that didn't hurt.  I mean at all.  I'm serious on that.  I really am.  I am dumbfounded by this.
I feel like I've been lied to for years.

Some people are afraid of needles.  I am not one of them.  One year in the military made sure of that.  And with modern pharmaceuticals everything after a tiny prick in the mouth (shut up) will not register.  If there was any pain involved, it would've been the sound of the drill shrieking in my ears when taking care of another issue at the same go.  But that must be because my ears are quite sensitive to high-pitched sounds...
But the freakiest part with the tooth removal...  That damned crunch.  The loudest and sickest three-second-long crunch you can imagine (IRL must've been far shorter than that, but it felt like three seconds).
And it appears the right lower doesn't need removal for ten more years, by current counts, and this experience is sure enough to get me back on track on dental hygiene.

Still I am amazed how easy that all was.  Now I just have to follow the instructions they gave and I'll be dandy.

On that note....  World, [link], enough said.

05.04.2013 Update

Got the wisdom teeth from the other side removed.
That hurt a bit.  Post-op hurt a whole lot more as the swelling set in and the anesthetic wears off (chin and lower lip still numb).  Had to scoop some snow to chill my cheek.
Seems both teeth had a curved root, so that made it a bit more tricky...
Still, on the road to recovery and I've gotten rid of those pesky things.

Even if it doesn't hurt at all those crunching and cracking sounds would make me cry. Oh my god, my tooth is coming out!

I remember that visceral crunch quite well. That and the comments "I'm going to grab your head for more leverage" and "You guys have great pain tolerance!"

Glad it worked out so well.

No pain's brilliant - I was gassed before mine, but they had to take out a chunk of jaw as well, so I woke up feeling great, with not a care in the world :D

wisdom teeth... which ones? I got all 4 out, the upper ones were not much of a problem, I was back to normal the same day but the lower ones sucked... but, to be honest, the pain isn´t annoying enough to stop the creative juices though, so you maybe canuse your downtime!
